PM vows to enhance ties with Qatar

ISLAMABAD, Feb 5: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Sunday said the Muslim Ummah’s help to Pakistan in recovering from the catastrophic Oct 8 earthquake last year had won the hearts of the quake victims as well as the people of Pakistan.

Speaking to a delegation of Qatar led by Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman Al-Thani, chairperson of the Qatar Authority for Charitable Activities, Premier Aziz said Pakistan valued its relations with Qatar and other Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The delegation called on him at the Prime Minister House.

He said Qatar and Pakistan were committed to peace, brotherhood and promoting the cause of the Muslim Ummah and vowed to work together to further relations between the two countries.—Staff Reporter
