KARACHI: Suicide threatened

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, Feb 5: Several PPP workers from Lyari Town have threatened to commit suicide outside the Karachi Press Club if the government did not stop ‘media trial’ of their party’s chairperson, Ms Benazir Bhutto, and her spouse Asif Ali Zardari.

Faqira Dada and Faiz Mohammad Chaman, along with other PPP activists, made this announcement here on Sunday.

If the slanderous campaign was not stopped, they warned, they would commit suicide on Feb 10 and 11.
