Narrow win for ZTBL

RAWALPINDI, Feb 4: ZTBL narrowly defeated Wapda by two wickets in the first round match of the Patron’s Cup at the KRL Stadium on Saturday. Batting first, Wapda made 262-4 in 50 overs. Tariq Aziz hammered seven fours and one six in scoring 80 while Bilal Khilji hit 56 off 61 balls with four boundaries.

ZTBL replied with 266-8 in 49.1 overs to win the close match.

Their main scorers were Faisal Naveed (54 with four fours), Bilal Asad (49 with four fours and one six) and Atif Ashraf (41 with five fours and one six).
