Candidates to submit papers personally: EC
ISLAMABAD, Feb 4: The Election Commission on Saturday asked the prospective candidates for Senate seats to personally submit their nomination papers. Secretary of the Election Commission Kanwar Mohammad Dilshad said nomination forms should be submitted to the returning officers concerned at Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta and Islamabad.
The position was clarified after several candidates had queried regarding Senate elections. The secretary said the nomination papers would be accepted between 8am and 3pm on Feb 11-13 and offices would remain open on Sunday.
