KARACHI, Feb 4: The hearing of a kidnapping for ransom case against Imtiaz Shaikh, former Senior Sindh Minister and other accused was adjourned till February 13 by Haq Nawaz Baloch, judge, Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC-V) for Karachi division on Saturday.
The adjournment came as Ateeq Siddiqui, a co-accused could not attend trial proceedings due to illness. The third accused, Mehfooz, is in custody. Imtiaz Shaikh and co-accused are charged with kidnapping Umar Iqbal, son of a local businessman Zafar Iqbal. The victim was allegedly released after payment of ransom.
