KARACHI, Feb 4: The inaugural meeting of Pakistan-UAE Business Council will be held on Monday at Federation House.

Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig will chair the meeting and it would be attended by FPCCI president Ch Muhammad Saeed, UAE acting consul general Rehma Al-Shamsi, Al-Futtaim Group CEO Omar Al Futtaim. Members and Board of Directors of the council and leading businessmen from UAE and Pakistan would also attend.

The meeting would formulate recommendations to increase the bilateral trade and investment between the two countries which would be submitted to the government for inclusion in the agenda of Pak-UAE Joint Ministerial Commission meeting to be held next month in Islamabad.—APP
