KARACHI, Feb 4: Five ships including a car carrier are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage during the next two days, according to the KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Corin Thaikos, Sagamore, PONL Buenos Aires, to unload and load containers, Hanjin Houstan to unload steel coils and Mercs Ruhunu, to unload soyabean meal were berthed after the departure of six vessels.

The ships, which departed were led by Kota Waruna, Iran Sattari, Kota Tabah, Eax Sanctity, Al-Mammori-2 and Lalazar, while E.O.S.I, Johar, Sagamore, PONL Buenos Aires, Al-Marwah, Hangin Houstan, and Maersk Alaska are due to sail out on Sunday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total cargo of 78,583 tons, comprising 12,289 tons of exports including 3,002 tons of rice and 66,294 tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Sunday and Monday: Ducky Symphony, with cars, MOL Asante, Sinar Bontang, Hanjin Busan, with containers, and Stolt Alliance, with chemicals.
