PCB awards cash prizes

LAHORE, Feb 3: The PCB on Friday announced that the National Bank of Pakistan the winning team of the Patrons Trophy Grade 1 tournament will receive a cash prize of Rs 300,000.

NBP won the event for the sixth time. PIA took the runners up place, which will earn them Rs 150,000.

PCB also announced cash incentives for the players who produced outstanding performances in the tournament.

The following players will also get individual prizes, said a spokesman of the PCB.

Best batsman: Faisal Iqbal PIA Rs.25,000 - 562 Runs

Best bowler: Tahir Mughal PTCL Rs.25,000 - 31 Wkts

Best fielder: Shahzad Malik PTCL Rs.25,000 - 17 Catches

Best wicketkeepers: Ahmed Zeeshan PIA Rs12,500- 14Ct-1St, Humayun Farhat HBL Rs12,500- 14Ct-1St

A small trophy will also be given to each of the best players.

The points table (team, matches played, won, lost drawn/abandoned, and points).
