Cash for Shahid, Basit, Amir
ISLAMABAD, Feb 2: The Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) on Thursday gave away cash awards to Shahid Zaman and two others for doing well. Shahid was awarded Rs 300,000 by PSF chief Kaleem Saadat for his fine performance last year while Amir Atlas Khan and Basit Ashfaq were given Rs 50,000 each.
Amir who had been set a target of becoming world No 80 ended up doing even better and reached world rank 52. Basit won the under-19 title at the British Junior Championship in 2005. Coach Jamshed Gul got 25 percent of the cash given to Shahid.
