KARACHI, Feb 1: Fifteen-year-old encroachments were removed at Jauher Complex in Gulshan Town on the directives of Town Nazim Mohammed Wassay Jalil.

Earlier, Town Nazim along with Naib Nazim Sohaib Akhtar, TMO Matanat Ali Khan and other officials, visited various areas and issued orders for their demolition.

The town administration, taking swift action on the orders of Nazim Wassay Jalil, demolished cemented structures and sheds built in front of 102 shops.

The demolition squad also bulldozed pushcarts, hoardings, cages, and ovens.

Baldia: The municipal administration of Baldia Town has removed encroachments from some 200 plots in Qaimkhani Colony’s Sector-12 in Baldia.

The town administration has launched an anti-encroachment operation on the directives of Town Nazim, Kamran Akhter. The Town Nazim has said that no one would be allowed to encroach government land in any area of the town.—APP
