Hyderabad triumph
HYDERABAD, Jan 31: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Hyderabad won the All-Pakistan Inter-board girls’ netball championship defeating Faisalabad 14-13 after a hard-fought match at Board Stadium, Latifabad the other day.
Faisalabad dominated the initial rounds as the match ended drawn 13-13 during allotted time. Afterwards, the teams were awarded five extra minutes to decide the winners.
Hyderabad took advantage of the extra time scoring a goal to beat Faisalabad 14-13.
Eight boards participated in the event, which was organised by BISE Hyderabad.
