KARACHI: Judge’s death condoled

KARACHI, Jan 30: The Sindh High Court suspended hearing of cases after tea break on Monday to mourn the death of its former judge and Pakistan Bar Council member Abdur Rahim Kazi.

Mr Kazi joined the legal profession at Hyderabad and was appointed additional advocate-general in 1986. He was elevated to the bench in the late 1980s and retired in 1995 on attaining the age of 62. He served as member of the Pakistan Bar Council after rejoining the Bar. He died at his Defence residence on Sunday.

He was laid to rest at Gizri graveyard on Sunday after Asr prayers. A large number of relatives, friends and fellows attended the funeral.
