Pervaiz orders rescue
LAHORE, Jan 29: Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi on Sunday night regretted the train accident near Jhelum directing the authorities concerned to immediately join the rescue operation.
Following his directions, seven vehicles of Rawalpindi’s Rescue 1122, including five ambulances, reached the spot. A team of 100 civil defence volunteers, along with 10 ambulances, had also been dispatched from Rawalpindi, official sources said. — Staff Reporter
