ISLAMABAD, Jan 28: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) pacers Fazle-Akbar and Najaf Shah restricted Habib Bank to a low total on Saturday, the second day of the Patron’s Trophy Quadrangular match at the KRL Stadium.

Fazle had a haul of 5-83 and Najaf took 4-60 as the Bankers responding to PIA’s own modest first innings score of 200 were dismissed for 219 in 50.5 overs. Farhan Adil topscored with 76.

By the close of play, PIA had wiped off Habib Bank’s 19-run lead and were 29 for the loss of Kamran Sajid who was trapped in front by Shahid Nazir for 9.

When PIA resumed their first innings at the overnight score of 167-7 in the morning, Shahid added the scalp of Imran Tahir to his list of victims to finish with 4-30.

Kamran Hussain had Fazle leg before and also ended the innings with four wickets.
