Father, son killed by armed men

KHAIRPUR, Jan 28: A man and his son were killed in a clash between two rival groups here on Saturday morning. Some Khaskheli community people were working in sugarcane fields near Soomar Khaskheli village in the Kingri taluka when Chang community people attacked them.

During firing, Wali Mohammad Khaskheli, 50, and his son Qurban Ali, 20, died instantly.

Mohammad Bux Chang was injured in the firing.

The bodies were brought to the Khairpur civil hospital and handed over to relatives after post-mortem.

The incident took place in the jurisdiction of police station Tando Masti.

No case was registered till the filing of this report.
