ISLAMABAD, Jan 27: Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) will build a National Snooker Centre at Pakistan Sports Complex. The decision in this matter was finalised when the Honourary Secretary of Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association, Aspi Mavalvala, called on the Director General of Pakistan Sports Board, Brig. Arif Mehmud Siddiqui, on Friday.

Aspi told reporters PBSA had prepared the design of the indoor National Snooker Centre which will be located within the Jinnah Stadium, Pakistan Sports Complex.

He said the game of snooker had brought laurels for

the country, such as world championship won by Muhammad Yousuf and Asian Games gold medal by Shaukat Ali.—APP
