Wali Khan’s death condoled

PESHAWAR, Jan 27: Special assistant to the prime minister Mohammad Ali Durrani visited the Jinnah Park here and offered condolence on the death of veteran politician and Rahbar of the National Awami Party Khan Abdul Wali Khan. He was accompanied by special secretary to the PM Dr Waqar Masood.

They were receive by Sangeen Wali Khan, younger son of the deceased.

Senator Durrani also called on ANP president Asfandyar Wali Khan and conveyed a condolence message from Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz. Mr Durrani paid rich tribute to Khan Wali Khan and said he promoted politics of tolerance and principles throughout his life. He said his services for the supremacy of the constitution and democracy would be always remembered.

MNA Kunwar Khalid Yunus, Syed Safwanullah and other MQM leaders, PML-N leader Saranjam Khan and others were also present. — APP
