HYDERABAD, Jan 27: The secretary, works and services, Mr Faisal Saud has said that engineers of works and services department must try to grasp advanced techniques at workshops and seminars being arranged by the road sector development directorate.

He was speaking at a seminar on “Asset management of the road network in Sindh” held here at a local hotel on Thursday.

The seminar was attended by consultants, Mr Jukka Isotalo, chief technical adviser (CTA), Mr Jaakkontsas, an expert and engineers of the works and services department Sindh.

The secretary said that the engineers have to be very active in taking full advantage from such seminars so that they could apply latest technology in the construction and maintenance of roads.

Road Management System, current situation of roads sector in Sindh were the main issues discussed in the seminar.
