KARACHI: Rs78.23m coastal project document approved


KARACHI, Jan 27: The Provincial Development Working Party has approved a project document of Rs78.232 million of the Sindh Coastal Development Authority (SCDA) calling for setting up of a Project Monitoring Unit (PMU) at its headquarters for professional management, monitoring and evaluation of all development activities in the two rural southern districts of Badin and Thatta.

According to the project documents, the SCDA shall be strengthened with the services experts from the open market on contract basis in the field of aquaculture, coastal environment, policy institution, community development, coastal agriculture, disaster management, natural coastal resources management, hydrogeology, land management, oilseeds development and mangroves rehabilitation.—APP
