Sir Syed College in last four

KARACHI, Jan 26: Defending champion, Sir Syed College, cruised into the semifinals of the Karachi Board Inter-collegiate girls basketball championship inflicting a crushing 49-6 defeat on Apwa College on Thursday.

Afshan top scored for the winners with 16 points to her credit.

Karachi College, Bahria College and PECHS College also advanced to the last four stage.

Karachi College got the better of DHA College 31-24, Baharia College outplayed Commecs College 30-4 while PECHS College carved out a 20-8 victory over Kuthiana Memon Authority (KMA) College.

Sir Syed College takes over Baharia College in the first semifinal on Friday at 9.30am while PECHS faces Karachi College in the second at 10.30am.
