Results of CT, PTC exams announced

LARKANA, Jan 26: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Larkana, announced on Thursday results of Primary Teaching Certificate and Certificate of Teaching examinations.

The pass percentage in PTC and CT examinations was 91.07 and 85.42 respectively.

In the PTC group, 194 of 213 candidates passed the examinations. One hundred and ten candidates took “A” grade, 82 got “B” grade and two got “C” grade. The pass percentage among boys remained 88 and among girls 95.45.

In the CT group, 199 candidates appeared in the examinations, five of whom got “A1” grade, 119 got “A” grade and 46 got “B” grade.

In the PTC examinations, among boys, Abdul Qayoom Kartio took the first position with 1,087 marks, Ayaz Hussain Tunio took the second position by obtaining 1,082 marks and Azizullah Solangi grabbed the third position with 1,079 marks. All the three position holders belonged to the Sindh Elementary Teachers Training Institute, Larkana.

Among girls, Yasmin Gul Rajput and Shakeela Bhan of the Government Elementary College of Education (women), Larkana, got the first and third positions respectively. The second position was secured by Rehana Wagan of the Sindh Elementary Teachers Training Institute, Larkana.

In the CT examinations, among boys, the first and second positions were secured by Mohammad Zakria Ansari and Abdul Wahab Katohar, respectively, of the Sindh Elementary Teachers Training Institute, Jacobabad, and Arif Rehman Bhutto of the Government Elementary College of Education (boys), Larkana, got the third position.

Among girls, the first position went to Sakina Khoso of the Sindh Elementary Teachers Training Institute, Jacobabad. Tanzeela Abbasi and Saima Solangi of the Sindh Elementary Teachers Training Institute, Larkana, secured the second and third positions respectively.
