KARACHI, Jan 26: Three ships carrying containers and to load naphtha are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was relatively slow as only three ships, Kuo Hung, Hyundai Stride and Y.M. Moon to unload and load containers were berthed after the departure of seven.

The ships, which departed were led by APL Jeddah, Kota Wijaya, M.S. Simon, Rizcun Trader, Sea Power, Hill and Nicolaosa, while Hyundai Stride, Y.M.Moon, Mercs Ruhunu, Irene, Kuo Hung, APL Orchid, Almar and Stella Terza are due to sail out on Friday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 0.105m tons comprising 19,872 tons of export cargo including 7,483 tons of rice and 85,500 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday: Victorious, to load naphtha, Sagamore, with containers and Iron Butterfly, with project cargo.
