Four killed in accident

MIANWALI, Jan 24: Four people were killed in a head-on collision between a pick-up and an oil tanker on Mianwali-Talagang Road near Sohrabwala, seven kilometres from here, on Tuesday. It is learnt that a Mianwali bound pick-up, in a bid to overtake a truck, collided with the oil tanker. Three passengers, including a grade 10 student, died on the spot while one of the injured succumbed to injuries in DHQ Hospital.

Those killed were Azizullah Khan, Amir Khan, 14-year-old Ziaur Rehman Khan and Dost Muhammad.

Luckily, drivers of both the buses suffered minor injuries and fled from the scene. —Correspondent
