6 officers promoted

ISLAMABAD, Jan 23: The Establishment Division on Monday notified the promotion of six officers of District Management Group from BPS-19 to 20. According to a notification, Mohammad Arif Khan, presently posted under the Punjab government, has been promoted to BPS-20 and posted as joint secretary Ministry of Commerce.

Ubaid Rabbani Qureshi on his promotion has been posted as joint secretary Economic Affairs Division.

Khalid Masood Chaudhry has been transferred and posted as director-general National Volunteer Movement (NVM) under the Prime Minister’s Secretariat (Public).

Altaf Ezid Khan on his promotion has been posted as joint secretary Economic Affairs Division.

Iftikhar Hussain has been promoted and posted as director- general Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), Karachi, on deputation basis.

Mohammad Aftab has been transferred and posted as joint secretary Interior Division.

Shaukat Usman, presently posted as NVM director-general, has been directed to report to the Establishment Division.

The FPSC recommended appointments of three candidates in BS-17 and one in BS-16 in different ministries.
