Jaswant due on Feb 1

KARACHI, Jan 21: Leader of opposition in the upper house of Indian parliament Jaswant Singh will lead the Indian delegation travelling by the inaugural train service between Monabao and Khokhrapar from Feb 1, it is learnt.

Mr Singh is likely to pay a visit to Hinglaj shrines during his visit to the province of Sindh.

An Indian delegation is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on Jan 27 to thrash out details about customs, immigration and fares.

The rail service between Khokhrapar and Monabao will be formally revived from Feb 4. The train will operate once a week on Saturdays.
