Two traders killed

KHAIRPUR, Jan 21: Two cloth traders were killed when their car overturned near Tando Masti on Friday night. Asif Memon and Khushhal Das left Sukkur for Gambat in a car to recover their money.

When they reached near Tando Masti, the car overturned and both of them were injured.

They succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital.

ROBBERY: Three armed men snatched Rs700,000 from a banana trader on the Therhi railway crossing here on Saturday.

As soon as trader Nazir Solangi disembarked from a bus coming from Punjab near Khajoor market, armed men who were hiding in a hotel, overpowered him and snatched a bag containing Rs700,000.

The villagers observed a sit-in on the National Highway for an hour. They raised slogans against police.
