Trade ties with Kabul to be reviewed

ISLAMABAD, Jan 21: Pakis-tan and Afghanistan will consider measures next month to increase bilateral trade and cooperation between the two countries.

An official said measures would be considered in the upcoming Pak-Afghan Joint Economic Commissioner meeting to be held next month in Islamabad. Pakistan’s delegation would be led by adviser to the prime minister on Finance Dr Salman Shah.

The JEC would review the implementation of decisions taken in the last meeting held in Kabul besides considering fresh proposals, including the removal of cooking oil from the negative list of the Afghan Transit Trade (ATT).
