KARACHI: KU issues third merit list

KARACHI, Jan 21: The University of Karachi has announced the third merit list of successful candidates for admissions to honours, Pharm-D and BS (Agri).

The successful candidates have been directed to complete the admission formalities from Jan 23 to 25.

These candidates are required to contact the admission committee office of the dean, Arts faculty with proforma and form receipt as well as the original marks certificate of intermediate or A-levels (non-returnable), original certificate of SSC or O-levels along with thier copies.

For regular students, a character certificate from the head of the institution last attended while for external candidates a character certificate from any gazetted officer is also required.

The original and copy of NIC of the candidate, in case of candidate below 18 years of age, father’s/mother’s original NIC and ‘B’ form containing the name of the applicant and their photocopies.

Ten passport size photos and an affidavit by oath commissioner on judicial stamp paper are also required. The original and copy of domicile of parents in case, change of category has been allowed.

The original migration certificate in case the applicant has passed the pre-requisite examination from other than Karachi-based institutions.

All the candidates who have taken admissions and completed all the formalities and their names have now appeared in the third merit list are directed to transfer themselves to the new department by filling in the proforma from Jan 23 to 25 at the office of the dean, Arts faculty.
