LAHORE, Jan 18: The Pool ‘B’ matches of the Patron’s Cup one-day cricket tournament are feared to be hit by inclement weather in the Punjab.

The tournament begins from Feb 4 with the Pool ‘B’ to be played in Rawalpindi and Faisalabad where the inclement weather is prevailing and traditionally it is likely to continue till middle of February.

Besides all Pool ‘A’ matches, the semifinals and final, will also be played in Karachi, according to the draws announced by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday.

The ongoing Patron’s Trophy Grade-I matches in various cities of the province had been washed out due to rainy and foggy weather.

Pool ‘A’ comprises PIA, Habib Bank, Customs, KRL and SNGPL while Pool ‘B’ consists of Wapda, ZTBL, PTCL, Service Industries and National Bank.

The final will be played at NBP Sports Complex in Karachi on Feb 20.

Feb 4: PIA v Habib Bank (UBL Sports Complex, Karachi); Pakistan Customs v KRL (NBP Sports Complex, Karachi; Wapda v ZTBL (KRL Stadium, Rawalpindi); PTCL v Service Industries (Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad).

Feb 6: Habib Bank v KRL (NBP Sports Complex); Pakistan Customs v SNGPL (UBL Sports Complex); National Bank v Service Industries (Iqbal Stadium); ZTBL v PTCL (KRL Stadium).

Feb 11: PIA v KRL (NBP Sports Complex); Habib Bank v SNGPL (UBL Sports Complex); National Bank v PTCL (KRL Stadium); Wapda v Service Industries (Iqbal Stadium).

Feb 13: PIA v Pakistan Customs (UBL Sports Complex); KRL v SNGPL (NBP Sports Complex); National Bank v Wapda (KRL Stadium); ZTBL v Service Industries (Iqbal Stadium).

Feb 15: PIA v SNGPL (NBP Sports Complex); Habib Bank v Pakistan Customs (UBL Sports Complex); National Bank v ZTBL (Iqbal Stadium); Wapda v PTCL (KRL Stadium).

Feb 18: Semifinals (NBP Sports Complex, Karachi and UBL Sports Complex, Karachi).

Feb 20: Final (NBP Sports Complex, Karachi).
