One killed, two hurt in wall collapse

BAHAWALPUR, Jan 18: One person was killed and two others suffered injuries on Wednesday when the wall of a well collapsed on them at Mauza Jamal Chanar area, Bahawalpur district.

Police said that three people were digging the well when one of its walls suddenly collapsed. Consequently, Nazir Ahmad died on the spot while Allah Wasaya and Imam Bakhsh sustained injuries. They were admitted to hospital.—APP
