Pledge to provide basic amenities

PESHAWAR, Jan 18: NWFP Minister for Local Government and Rural Development Sardar Muhammad Idrees said on Wednesday that the government would use all resources to provide basic amenities to the masses.

Presiding over a briefing on Hayatabad development projects on Wednesday, the minister said the chief minister would be informed about the Hayatabad development to seek his approval.

He said the government was planning better facilities for the people in view of keeping environment healthy. For the promotion of education in the province, he said, the government would allocate plots to private sector.

The director-general, CD&MD, highlighted the proposed development projects, including, construction of flats, shops, intersections, roads, treatment plants, boundary wall and gave details of the residential plots, besides budget and expenditures of Hayatabad Township of last four years.—APP
