DHAKA, Jan 18: The Supreme Court Bar Association of Bangladesh on Wednesday demanded that the president initiate an inquiry into the ‘misconduct’ of the chief election commissioner, M A Aziz. It also demanded his removal.

A meeting of the association held on Wednesday resolved that Mr Aziz committed ‘misconduct’ by continuing the process of the preparation of the new electoral roll in violation of the high court’s verdict.
