By Our Correspondent

ABBOTTABAD, Jan 17: Relief operation in the quake-affected areas of Hazara has remained suspended for three days due to heavy snowfall and continuous rain. The communication links in the entire region, which were earlier hit by the earthquake, have been badly affected by rains.

Supply of relief items to the hilly areas through helicopter service has been suspended and the Karakoram Highway blocked at different points in Battagram district.

The road from Balakot to Kaghan/Naran has been closed for all kind of traffic due to landslides and heavy snowfall. Link roads in the Galyats have also been blocked for vehicular traffic due to snowfall.
