Fazl blames govt’s policies for crisis

By Our Correspondent

LAKKI MARWAT, Jan 16: Opposition leader in National Assembly Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said the country is passing through a critical juncture due to the pro-US policies of the government.

He was speaking at a public gathering at Wanda Amir here on Monday.

“The whole nation is condemning the US bombardment and missile attack in Bajuar Agency, but the government is avoiding to lodge a strong protest with United States authorities over the issue,” Maulana Fazl said.

He said that the use of force in North and South Waziristan agencies would harm the integrity of the country.

Present on this occasion were former MNAs Naseer Mohammad Khan Maidadkhel, Kabir Khan Marwat and other leaders of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam.
