Defence ties
ISLAMABAD, Jan 16: Pakistan and Australia on Monday agreed to explore ways to increase defence cooperation, particularly in the area of training for military personnel.
In a meeting of visiting Australian Army Chief Lt-Gen Peter Leahy with Defence Secretary Tariq Waseem Ghazi, the two sides discussed matters of mutual interest.
The defence secretary thanked the Australian armed forces for their support in the earthquake relief operations.—APP
