LAHORE, Jan 15: Four goals by Hissam Ali Hyder enabled Bank Alfalah to win Mueen Uddin Polo Cup crushing Soneri Bank 7-3 in the final on Sunday. The winners led the first chukker 3-0 as Saqib Khan Khakwani, who scored two goals drew first blood scoring a field goal on solo effort.

Hissam struck back-to-back field goals to gain a convincing lead.

Hissam scored his third goal in the second chukker, also through a field effort as the winners surged ahead 4-0.

On offensive, the winners gained 6-1 lead in the third chukker as Hissam scored his fourth goal and Faaiz Rahim Khan struck a goal.For the losers, Ahmed Ali Tiwana scored the first goal.

The winners completed the scoring as Saqib scored his second goal followed by a goal each from Feroze Gulzar and Ahmad Ali Tiwana for the losers.

Three goals each by Maula Baksh and Agha Murtaza Ali Khan helped Diamond Paints to earn third place beating Garden Gas 8-5 1/2.

Mir Shoaib Ahmad and Umar Sadik added a goal each for the winners.

For the losers, who had two and a half goal handicap all three goals were scored by Taimur Mawaz Khan.
