QUETTA, Jan 15: Balochistan Home Minister Mir Shoaib Nausherwani has offered to hold dialogue with elements opposed to development projects in the province. He, however, has made it clear that there will be no compromise on enforcing the government’s writ.
Talking to journalists on Sunday, the minister said all resources would be used for maintaining the writ of the government.
He alleged that a small group of people acted against the interest of millions and whenever the government took steps for the development and prosperity of the province, those elements created hurdles. He advised such elements to come to the negotiating table for solving longstanding problems in the larger interest of the country, the province and its people.
However, he said the government would not respond with friendly gestures to firings, rocket attacks and bomb explosions affecting common people.
He said the government had the ability to protect the life and property of people and it would not allow anyone to disturb the law and order situation.
