Procession against Kalabagh dam

MIRPURKHAS, Jan 14: A procession of the Sindhiani Tehrik against proposed construction of the controversial Kalabagh dam reached the Gama stadium in Mirpurkhas from Hyderabad on Saturday. More than 300 activists of the party, including women, participated in the procession.

The procession was led by president Zahida Shaikh and general secretary Nazeer Qureshi.

The protesters raised slogans against the government and marched on various roads.

Speaking at the Market chowk, the leaders said that the KBD was an anti-Sindh project.
