LAKKI MARWAT, Jan 14: People of Tajori and other adjacent villages on Saturday blocked the Indus Highway to protest laodshedding and low voltage in the area. The loadshedding caused shortage of drinking water in the area which forced the locals to come out on the road.

The protestors led by nazim union council Tajori Maulana Asghar Ali and nazim union council Bakhmal Ahmadzai Malik Idrees Khan gathered at the Malang Adda and blocked the Indus Highway for traffic.

They complained that power supply to their villages remained disconnected for hours, but the local staff of Pesco did not bother to address the problem.
