MARDAN, Jan 14: Provincial Salari Aala of Nangyaley Pukhtun, a pressure group of the Awami National Party, Zahoor Afridi, has said that the party is working to revive the organization. Former federal minister and leader of ANP Azam Khan Hoti is the Markazi Salari Aala of Nangyaley Pukhtun (NP), which was quite active in the past, but has been dormant for some time.

Mr Afridi, who was recently appointed provincial Salari Aala of NP, told this correspondent on Saturday that local units of ANP had been asked to provide complete data of their activists for the reorganization.

He lamented that no record of NP activists was available with the party.

He said the NP would be reorganized in the province, adding that the data of workers would be computerized.

Meanwhile, ANP provincial joint secretary Naveed Khan has criticized attack on the HRCP team going to Dera Bugti to assess the security situation there.

He said the HRCP team, which also included ANP leader Afrasiab Khattak, was attacked on way to Dera Bugti to prevent the team members from visiting the area.
