Two gangsters held

QUETTA, Jan 13: Police have arrested two members of the Rehman Dakait gang from the Jinnah road area and seized arms and ammunition. Sources said that a police party raided a public call office near Jinnah road on Monday and arrested Mohammad Hanif and Abdul Ghafoor.

“Both the accused are accomplices of Rehman Dakait and wanted in dozens of cases,” Capital City Police Officer Salman Syed said, adding that over a dozen hand-grenades and other arms and ammunition were also seized from their car. He said Hanif was supplying weapons to Rehman Dakait and was involved in killing two police personnel in Hub.—Staff Correspondent
