KARACHI, Jan 13: The final professional annual exams of MBBS for the students of Dow Medical College, Sindh Medical College and other colleges affiliated with the University of Karachi will commence on March 11.

Talking to Dawn on Friday, Karachi University Examination Controller Dr Anwar Zaidi said that all annual exams of MBBS programme, excepting the first professional, would be held as per the schedule given earlier by the university. The schedule was finalized by the dean of the medicines faculty of the university in consultation with the respective college principals, he added.

He said that a variation in the dates of first professional exams had to be made in view of the ongoing degree exams. The first professional Part-A and Part-B examinations would now be held from Feb 16 and Feb 24 respectively.

He made it clear that no changes in the schedule of MBBS Final Prof Examination were under consideration and the exams would be held from March 11. The MBBS Second Prof and Third Prof exams will commence on Feb 27 and Feb 28 respectively, he added.
