By Our Staff Correspondent

QUETTA, Jan 10: Gunmen snatched the official vehicle of the provincial Minister for Mineral Resources Sardar Masood Ahmed Luni from the city’s main thoroughfare late on Monday night. Two men carrying weapons stopped Sardar Luni’s vehicle on the busy Jinnah road and forced the driver to get off before they took away the vehicle.

The minister was not in the car at that time.

The incident occurred at a time when a large number of people were busy in Eid shopping in shopping centres and markets along the road.

Police have registered a case against unknown burglars and started an investigation. No arrest was reported till late in the evening.
