Holders Arsenal face Bolton

LONDON, Jan 9: FA Cup holders Arsenal were handed a tough tie at Premier League rivals Bolton Wanderers when the draw for the fourth round of the FA Cup was made on Monday.

Favourites Chelsea will travel to meet the winners of the third round replay between second division strugglers Millwall and Premier League Everton while minor league heroes Burton Albion were handed the chance of a midland derby against second division Wolverhampton Wanderers — if they overcome the odds and defeat mighty Manchester United in their third round replay at Old Trafford.

If another minor league side Nuneaton Borough should beat Premier League Middlesbrough they would face local rivals Coventry City of the second division.

Second Division Leicester City, who came from 2-0 down to beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-2 were rewarded with a home tie against second division rivals Southampton.

Portsmouth will host Liverpool and West Ham United will face Blackburn Rovers in two all-Premier League ties while fourth division Leyton Orient’s reward for beating Premier League Fulham is another London derby against near neighbours Charlton Athletic.

Newcastle United, who overcame fourth division Mansfield Town at home will travel to meet another fourth division side at either Chester City or Cheltenham Town.

The ties will be played on the weekend of Jan 28-29.
