MUZAFFARABAD, Jan 8: Authorities have decided to distribute kerosene stoves among earthquake survivors in Pakistan to save them from freezing temperatures despite fears of tent blazes that have claimed several lives, the United Nations said on Sunday.
“We need to do some training in the camps before we start distributing stoves and kerosene among survivors to save them from the cold,” Morgan Morris, a senior coordinator of the UN’s refugee agency, told AFP.
