ARD rally tomorrow

LAHORE, Jan 6: The ARD will hold a rally from the Lahore Press Club to the Punjab Assembly secretariat on Sunday to protest against what it calls the army operation going on in Balochistan. Leaders from Balochistan will also take part in the rally. ARD leaders met here on Friday under the chairmanship of Qasim Zia to discuss arrangements for the rally. A number of other alliance leaders were also present.

The participants, through a resolution, called for an end to the military operation. They also called for steps to check price hike.

Meanwhile, JWP chief Akbar Bugti will address the Lahore media by phone from his Dera Bugti residence on Saturday afternoon.

Qazi Abdul Qadeer Khamosh has arranged the telephonic press conference at his Ichhra residence.
