Turkish aid to continue

ISLAMABAD, Jan 6: Turkey’s aid efforts to Pakistan are still continuing as a total of 32 trucks carrying aid goods were on way to Pakistan. The trucks left for the quake-stricken areas of Pakistan and are set to deliver medicines and other goods collected by Turkish Red Crescent (Kizilay), Istanbul Municipality and several Turkish private companies.

Kizilay Director General Tekin Kucukali said that that nearly 100,000 Pakistani survivors lived in tents of Turkish Red Crescent.

Prefabricated houses, rehabilitation centre, library, polyclinic, exhibition hall, computer rooms, mess hall, 20 tons of medicines and 120 tons of flour are part of the latest Turkish aid to Pakistan.—APP
