Rocket hits check-post

BANNU, Jan 5: Saboteurs fired rockets at a police check-post and Marwat Canal in the Baka Khail area on Wednesday night. No casualty was reported in either of the attacks. The first rocket was fired at 10:30pm and struck Marwat Canal on the Bannu-Miramshah Road. A loud sound was heard on impact. Three hours later, a second rocket was fired in the same area, hitting the combined check-post of Khasadaar force and police. The attack left a wall of the check-post badly damaged.—Correspondent
