APNS holidays for Eid

Published January 6, 2006

KARACHI, Jan 5: Secretary-General of All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) Kazi Asad Abid has announced that member publications of APNS will observe two closed holidays on Wednesday and Thursday (Jan 11 and 12, 2006) on account of Eid-ul-Azha as a special case.

The decision has been taken on request of Akhbar Farosh Federation, says a press release of the APNS.

There will, therefore, be no morning newspapers on Thursday, and Friday (Jan 12 and 13, 2006) whereas evening publications will not appear on January 11 and 12, which may bring out their issues on Jan 13.—-PPI
