SUKKUR, Jan 5: Hundreds of labourers and residents of Daharki staged a demonstration outside the police station, following kidnapping of two people on Thursday.

Zahoor Awan, a contractor of the Exxon Chemical and his brother Manzoor Awan, were on way to the factory in a car when unknown gunmen stopped the car and kidnapped both of them.

The police assured early recovery and arrest of culprits allegedly involved in the kidnapping but in vain.

Police failed to operate against the kidnappers compelling people to come on roads.

They assembled outside the Daharki police station and raised slogans against the police.

No body was arrested till filing the report.
